Gwinnett Clinic Physicians Mentor Medical Students

Two Gwinnett Clinic physicians, Dr. Meena Shah and Dr. Padmini Gunadeva, teach medical students as Clinical Assistant Professors of Family and Preventive Medicine at Emory University. Dr. Shah also serves as a preceptor for medical students from the Medical College of Georgia and Morehouse.

Shah Family Honors Student Support Fund

This scholarship is awarded to the students withing the honors program, set up with The Arch Foundation for University of Georgia ( UGA )

Gwinnett Clinic Awards for highest SAT scores

  • A prize for one female and one male student each for highest SAT scores for children of members of Gujarati Samaj, Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia
  • A prize for one female and one male student each for highest SAT score for children of Indian origin through Indian American Cultural Association of Atlanta, Georgia

Gwinnett Clinic Awards High School Valedictorian Scholarships

Drs. J.J. and Meena Shah, Gwinnett Clinic founders, are committed to the communities in which Gwinnett Clinic physicians practice. In addition to their committment to health and wellness, they have a strong committment to education. It is in the spirit of this commitment that they decided in April 2006 to award the Valedictorian of every high school in Gwinnett County a scholarship to reward him or her for hardwork over the past four years.

"We hope that this scholarship will let these students know that everyone in the community is proud of their achievement." Dr. J.J. Shah.

Gwinnett Clinic Supports High School Science Education

Gwinnett Clinic donated funds to Greater Atlanta Christian School (GACS) in Norcross, GA to support the building of science laboratory facilities. Drs. J.J. and Meena Shah sent all three of their children to GACS and are strong supporters of science education at the high school level.

"A new science lab is critical for GACS to teach students the sophisticated knowledge necessary to succeed in the 21st century." Dr. J.J. Shah.
