Gwinnett Clinic Welcomes Two Primary Care Family Nurse Practitioners
Gwinnett Clinic is pleased to welcome two outstanding family nurse practitioners to our primary care team.
Ms. Angela Thompson, FNP-BC
Ms. Angela has lived in Monroe, Georgia since 1988. After graduating high school, she served in the US Air Force. She left duty with honorable discharge to start her family and then went to nursing school. She then served as a RN at Athens Regional for 12 years on the Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit. During that time, she expanded her family and realized her desire to serve the community though primary care. She completed her master's degree with the focus as a Nurse Practitioner at Brenau University and is excited to grow with Gwinnett Clinic family.
Ms. Jessica Etzkorn, FNP-C
Ms. Jessica grew up outside of Chicago, Illinois. She went to the University of Illinois where she received a Bachelor of Science in Community Health. She quickly realized she wanted to make a more direct impact on individuals in her community, which led her to a career in medicine. She was accepted to Vanderbilt University, where she received a registered nurse license and completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty. Ms. Jessica looks forward to improving her patient's health and wellness at Gwinnett Clinic!
