Ms. Caitlin Leverenz graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, in December 2024, after earning her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA, in 2013. Before becoming a Physician Assistant, she worked for three years as an Anesthesia Technician at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Although she valued her time in the operating room, she was inspired to pursue a career as a PA to become more directly involved in patient care and to broaden her experience across diverse medical specialties and settings.
She is currently focused on refining her neurologic examination skills, managing patients with conditions ranging from sleep apnea to multiple sclerosis, and gaining experience with insurance and billing practices. Her clinical interests include procedures—particularly Botox injections and, when possible, nerve conduction studies. Beyond neurology, she is passionate about women’s health and is committed to providing intersectional, trauma-informed care.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys sewing and clothing and costume construction, video games, pop culture, reading, horseback riding, and the occasional hike. She also values spending time with her neighbors and her local PA school classmates. She grew up in Vermont on an island in Lake Champlain and has lived in Decatur for the past four years. Looking ahead, she hopes to travel extensively, with Japan, New Zealand, Iceland, Ireland, and Scotland at the top of her list
