She chose to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner to merge her love for hands-on patient care with a dedication to promoting long-lasting health. At Gwinnett Clinic, Marissa thrives on being part of a trustworthy team that guides patients towards healthier, more fulfilling lives. She is currently learning more about evidence-based guidelines for various primary care conditions to enhance patient care continually. Marissa’s clinical interests lie in Primary Care-Family Medicine and Mental Health; areas she is committed to exploring further. Outside of work, she enjoys unwinding by taking walks at Stone Mountain and immersing herself in the vibrant Atlanta community. Her hobbies include traveling, playing pickleball, reading, and cherishing moments with her loved ones.
